So now they have an updated LSR line and they also present their new ELASTOSIL® LR 5040 product line, specialized in the production of silicone products for the food, pharmaceutical, medical and baby care industry, being much more efficient in the named applications that the optimized line of LSR.
They affirm that the use of ELASTOSIL® LR 5040 for the manufacture of silicone products does not always require postcuring, since it complies with the legal requirements, it also provides the final product with excellent mechanical properties providing greater tear resistance without the need for curing.
It also presents a great improvement in the appearance of the products since they are translucent with a pale blue background, allowing to obtain a product with an appearance of high quality and purity.
The tendency to turn yellow after curing is minimized.
