ESQUIM FD-15 is a silicone defoamer specially formulated for use in food processes.
Used in small doses, it is easy to dilute, quickly disperses in the medium with low shear forces and is very effective over a wide range of pH and temperature.
APPLICATIONS
ESQUIM FD-15 can be used directly but prior dilution in permuted water or in the same medium to be defoamed is recommended. Its high efficiency allows the product to be used in particularly small concentrations: from 10mg of ESQUIM FD-15 per kg of foaming solution (10 ppm). Its ease of dispersing in the system makes its effectiveness quick and long-lasting.
The active substance of the defoamer is authorized as a food additive according to regulation (EU) 1129/2011 that amends Annex II of regulation (EU) 1333/2008 of the European Parliament, which establishes the list of food additives and the conditions of use. in each food category with its maximum dose (MD).
Applied to our product, the maximum dose of ESQUIM FD-15 for each use mentioned below is 66mg / kg.
- Fats and oils without water (except anhydrous milk fat) only for oils and fats for frying
- Other fat and oil emulsions, including dairy fat spreads, as defined in Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007, and liquid emulsions, only oils and fats for frying

PRESENTATION AND STORAGE
ESQUIM FD-15 is presented in packages of 25, 200 and 1000 Kg.
ESQUIM FD-15 stored in original containers and at a temperature of approximately 25ºC, maintains its properties for 12 months.
